Leading scientist's research interests: Development of powerful gyrotrons, dielectric vacuum windows, transmission lines for powerful millimeter radiation and antennas for heating plasma for applications to problems of thermonuclear synthesis, as well as for processing materials by flows of such radiation as part of solving technological tasks.
Quote by the head of the laboratory: One of very important circumstances in the practice of our scientific research within the project was very close cooperation both in the community of young researcher of the project and between younger participants and senior researchers. This great cooperation made it possible to rapidly increase the level of training of young participants of the project in the field of practical skills for conducting both theoretical and in experimental research. As a result, this has given us real success in completion of the project.
