Leading scientist's research interests:

Macro-, micro- and nanomechanics of materials and structures, diffusion and flow through porous environment, corrosion cracking and destruction under influence of the environment, phase transitions and interfaces

Quote by the head of the laboratory: Togliatti, in my opinion, is better than Moscow or St. Petersburg for working on the project. Probably it is common to think that all the best things are concentrated in big cities. Bit I was impressed by the equipment at the Togliatti State University: devices at the Research institute for progressive technologies is at a high, world class level.
