Drug delivery is a vastly important aspect for regenerative and remedial therapy. Many targets in the organism are hard to reach and we need to search for new ways for targeted transport of molecules of pharmaceuticals to target regions. In the created laboratory we research both chemical and cellular carrier systems to seek for the best means of drug transport for ocular diseases. Such systems are incredibly necessary with the wide spread of eye diseases that lea to blindness in millions of patients all around the world.
