Over the last 20 years, Alessandra Giumlia-Mair has participated in a number of projects as the lead expert in archaeometric analysis. At those times, she regularly worked with archaeological expeditions as a consultant and specialist in excavations and the study of industrial objects – the late Antiquity Gothic monument of Torraccia in the town of San Gimignano in Tuscany, a monument of the Kingdom of Langobards era in Fiesole, Tuscany, and others.
