- The Laboratory has developed 2 explanatory theoretical models:
1) A model of anthropological reconstruction of the process of adaptation of Western novelties in the environment of the Russian elite of the imperial period;
2) a model of communicative fields of routinization of innovative processes.
- We have created and tested a number of intermediate methods and models that are suitable for systematization, understanding and aggregation of large arrays of empirical materials: a method of synchronous opposite adaptations, a principle of hierarchy of elites as a mediative target of transfer and adaptation of novelties of the Western modern type, two models of adaptation of innovations (exemplification and targeted modernism) and others.

Other results: We have created a corpus of electronic sources «Corpus Innovations Europeana»: an open electronic platform that hosts written historical sources in a structured form. The corpus is devoted to describing mechanisms and processes of transfer of social and cultural innovations in Russia during the imperil period (www.corpus.hist-lab.ru).
