- We have formulated and proven theories reflecting features of nonhomogeneous preferences of society
- Our researchers have proposed ways of integrating data on languages, culture and other aspects of diversity in Russian regions into a common pool of regional statistical data
- Impact of propagation of information in social networks on people's inclination to act in cooperation has been shown
- We have o brained quantitative estimates of influence of natural resources on economical development in the circumstances of diversity of Russian regions
- The Laboratory has studied axiomatic foundations and theoretical properties of indexes of social and economical inhomogeneity of society
- New generalizations have been proposed for modifications of known indexes that are used in research of inhomogeneity of society at international, state and regional level including practice-oriented research of Russian regions
- We have shown long-term influence of diversity of society on contemporary social and economical development of Russian regions (for instance, we have determined regional features that have existed over the last century and were caused by Stolypin reforms of the early 20th century)
- Our Laboratory has shown that collectivity, language, common imperial past, presence of similar or common ethnic groups influences activity of trading between countries
Implemented results of research: Achieved results are used in applied social and economical research as well as in building various regional development indexes accounting for factors of inhomogeneity of population (including ethnic, regional, language and cultural differences)
