Mechanics of heterogeneous materials and metamaterials at different scales, mechanics of biomedical materials and devices, additive technologies, creation of software algorithms for design and modeling of heterogeneous and lattice structures, design and engineering of structures with complex morphology and predefined mechanical behavior, fracture mechanics.

Obtained his PhD (candidate of physical and mathematical sciences) in 2011 at the Institute of Continuous Media Mechanics of Russian Academy of Sciences. Author of more than 65 journal papers. Presented at more than 40 international conferences. Principal investigator of 10 externally funded grant projects. A scholarship holder of the Mikhail Lomonosov program of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation and DAAD (Germany). Participated in scientific internships at Loughborough University (UK), Technical University of Vienna (Austria). Holder of 23 national certificates of original computer software registration.
