Scientific recognition

Awards and achievements:

Awards:

1) Winner of the Lomonosov Moscow State University contest for talented students, postgraduates, and young scientists, established by O.V. Deripaska, for the series of articles "Magnetoelectric materials and multiferroics," 2013, Russia.

2) Granted the title of professor of the Russian Academy of Sciences for international-level scientific achievements, 2015, Russia.

3) Winner of the "Seminarist" contest within the program of the "Physics faculty of MSU" foundation, 2018, Russia.

4) Winner of the Moscow Government award for young scientists, 2017, Russia.

5) Winner of the "Young leading scientist" contest of the "basis" foundation, 2022, Russia.

Achievements:

1) First experimental confirmation of the existence of electric polarization at magnetic domain boundaries [Applied Physics Letters, v.93, p.182510 (2008)]; both theoretically and experimentally demonstrated the possibility of enhancing the magnetoelectric properties of domain boundaries in a magnetic field [Phys. Rev. B 104, 144407 (2021)].

2) Discovery of a new class of multiferroics - Govardensits. Using LiCuFe2(VO4)3 as an example, the presence of a dielectric permeability anomaly characteristic of type-II multiferroics at the magnetic ordering temperature was demonstrated [Phys. Rev. Applied 10, 034008 (2018)].

3) Discovered the effect of the electric inception of magnetic cylindrical domains [JETP Letters, vol. 104, issue 3, pp. 196-200 (2016)] and investigated its mechanism [J. Appl. Phys. 129, 024103 (2021)].

4) Predicted a new type of interrelation between the magnetic and electric subsystems in multiferroics - through the valley degree of freedom of the electron (in graphene-like 2D magnetic materials) [Phys. Rev. Lett. 125, 247601 (2020)].

5) Discovery of increased cytotoxicity of magnetite nanoparticles placed on the surface of polymer microcapsules [Colloids and Surfaces B: Biointerfaces, 199, 111548 (2021)].

6) Formulated the "frequency-field" dilemma in magnetic hyperthermia and developed an optimal strategy for choosing the parameters of the alternating field to maximize heat release from magnetic nanoparticles with a high blocking temperature [Applied Physics Letters, vol. 120, no. 10, pp. 102403-1-102403-5 (2022)].
